This a pub I have visited a few times over many years and I must say that in its current set up everyone in our party agreed it was beautifully decorated and attractively laid out. We had a nice round table near the windows at the far end of the restaurant which was perfect for our small birthday lunch. We had some pork belly scratchings which were cooked and the fried to form a tasty snack/starter. The scotch egg was heaven and perfectly soft in the middle. Additionally the vegetarian option was the very best I have even had. The Cauliflower steak was full of flavour and very filling. I am a meat eater who decided to try this option and I was very glad I did. The waitress was excellent and looked after us very well. This is a really top quality place and reasonably priced. We will definitely come back again very soon.
